About the Gift

Taglit-Birthright Israel is a unique partnership between the people of Israel through their government, local Jewish communities (North American Jewish Federations through the United Jewish Communities, Keren Hayesod, and The Jewish Agency for Israel).

To date, over 250,000 young adults from around the world have taken advantage of a Taglit-Birthright Israel sponsored trip opportunity.

The Taglit-Birthright Israel gift covers roundtrip airfare plus ten days of accomodations and unique travel programming in Israel. Any Jewish young adult in the 18-26 age range who has never before visited Israel on a peer-group program is eligible for the gift regardless of financial or religious background. Young Judaea is a pluralistic, not-for-profit organization that is an agency of Hadassah. We have a track record of 50+ years creating meaningful experiences in Israel for young adults. Our Taglit-Birthright Israel program is geared to 18-26 year-olds of all Jewish backgrounds. We emphasize a hands-on travel experience...filling your senses with the life, smells, tastes, sounds, and texture of modern Israel.
