Taglit-Birthright Israel is an innovative partnership between the people of Israel through the Government of Israel, private philanthropists and thousands of donors and Jewish communities around the world (North American Jewish Federations through the Jewish Federations of North America; the Jewish Agency for Israel; and Keren Hayesod).

To date, upwards of 360,000 young adults from around the world have taken advantage of a Taglit-Birthright Israel sponsored trip opportunity.

The Taglit-Birthright Israel gift covers roundtrip airfare plus ten days of accomodations and unique travel programming in Israel. Any Jewish young adult in the 18-26 age range who has never before visited Israel on a peer-group program is eligible for the gift regardless of financial or religious background. Young Judaea is a pluralistic, not-for-profit organization with a track record of 60+ years creating meaningful experiences in Israel for young adults. Our Taglit-Birthright Israel program is geared to 18-26 year-olds of all Jewish backgrounds. We emphasize a hands-on travel experience...filling your senses with the life, smells, tastes, sounds, and texture of modern Israel. The Young Judaea experience has no political or religious agenda, and we create an inclusive and always relaxed environment on our groups with our peer staff from North America and our dynamic Israeli guides.
